The main responsibility associated with this role is the maintenance of trucks, trailers, and yard tractors, ensuring their performance, safety, and legislative compliance. Requirements:

• Proficiency in managing Class A vehicles for a year or more is essential
• Knowledge regarding air brake, hydraulic, and electrical operations
• A background in welding and fabrication is mandatory
• Having familiarity with tire repair work, including mounting and dismounting, is advantageous
• Competence in performing DOT inspections and verifying compliance accordingly

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain lift trucks, pallet jacks, and cat fork trucks to ensure smooth operations
• Provide repairs for hydraulics, motors, drive units, tires, wheels, and various other integral elements of the machinery
• Implement basic software configurations for rolling stock equipment and update or repair cylinders
• Ensure the proper operation of conveyor systems by maintaining and fixing electrical and mechanical parts
• Resolve faults and malfunctions in Graphical Monitoring Systems (GMS), sortview controllers, programmable logic controllers, and pick-to-light systems through systematic troubleshooting procedures
• Create machine parts on demand
• Carry out regular upkeep tasks on the fleet and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Use operational tools like battery changers and scrubber/sweeper apparatus
• Undertake general building maintenance work, including minor plumbing and electrical repairs such as the replacement of light bulbs
• Address any issues with the racking systems by conducting repairs
• Maintain unwavering dedication to meeting standards of safety, quality, and productivity
